Packages and Rates at Victoria Inn, Ontario Canada
We invite you to step back 100 years, and imagine the Inn when it was a private home of an artist. Gerald Hayward, the original owner, designed the home and commissioned Fred Pratt, a local boat builder to build this U.S. eastern seaboard “shingles style” summer home.
It features a 3-storey octagonal tower, bell-curved roof and diamond-paned windows. There are also ocular windows, and eye-brow dormers. Originally there were two stories of open verandah. These were closed in in the 1940′s. However, all the original (external) doors and windows were kept. All the high oak wainscoting, art nouveau and mission architecture have been preserved.
All the bedrooms have comfortable beds and feather duvets (hypoallergenic duvets for allergic guests), and ensuite bathrooms.
