The Victoria Inn in Gore's Landing and the Lantern Inn and Suites in Port Hope welcome you to immerse yourself in the beauty, bounty and diversity of historic Port Hope and the rolling countryside of Rice Lake - just 90 minutes east of Toronto.
Port Hope
With one of the best preserved historic main streets in Canada, a wealth of historic homes, wonderful antique and specialty shops, Port Hope is a destination all to itself. Lantern Inn and Suites is a 1845 building on the banks of Port Hope's Ganaraska River reopened in 2003 as a fine, small hotel. Large windows with views of the river, high ceilings, and reproduction period furniture, add to the historical appeal. The smart new restaurant on the ground floor evokes 1920s Paris...the outdoor terrace is reminiscent of Old Montreal..."

Gore's Landing
Gore's Landing is steeped in the geological, cultural, First Nation and settlement history of Rice Lake and the Kawarthas. Victoria Inn is a gracious century-old inn overlooking the waters, islands and sunsets of Rice Lake. The inn is a picturesque country retreat to those in search of peace and quiet. You'll feel as though you have gone back 100 years to a gentler time - floating on the lake in a canoe, fishing, swimming, relaxing with a good book, exploring the mission architecture of this unique home. The Inn specializes in fresh Canadian country cooking, using local meat, produce, game and fish, and caters to dietary preferences.

4 day package runs Sunday through Thursday, June 1 through Thanksgiving. The package can be customized for 5 days, should you want to spend an extra day in town or out in the country.

2 nights accommodation, 2 dinners and 2 breakfasts at Victoria Inn
2 nights accommodation, 2 dinners and 2 breakfasts at Lantern Inn and Suites
itineraries for self-guided tours of the Victorian streets of Port Hope and out into the Northumberland countryside to visit the many specialty shops, artisan studios, farms and useums
reserved tickets for your choice of theatre performances at the Capitol Theatre in Port Hope, or 4th Line Theatre in Millbrook or the Westben Arts Festival in Campbellford (cost of tickets payable at the door)
